Measure in three places, across the top, middle and the bottom, this allows for any variances (such as part tiled walls).

Use the smallest of these measurements - We will make a small deduction to ensure that the blind fits perfectly within the recess, allowing for the blind fixtures and fittings.

If installing outside of a window recess, measure the recess in three places, across the top, middle and the bottom, this allows for any variances. Then add a minimum of 10cm to the widest measurement for the overlap. This will give you your exact overall blind width.

If you have a wooden baton above the recess, we advise you to measure this as your exact width.

Measure the recess drop (length/height) in three places, from top to bottom across the left, middle and right side of the internal window opening, this allows for any variances.

Use the smallest of these measurements - A small deduction will be taken to ensure the blind can operate correctly.

If your blind does not sit within a recess or you simply want us to make a blind to your sizes with no deductions, measure the overall drop you require from top to bottom, including the blind headrail and any overlap to ensure you get full coverage. Then add a minimum overlap of 10cm to the top and bottom. This will give you your exact overall blind width.

If you have a wooden baton above the recess, we advise you to measure from the top of the baton to where you want the blind to finish as your exact drop.

This one incurred £49 excess on postage die to size. Has a nice sheen on it, and subtle pattern you can see.

Have swift blinds gone bust???? Purchased 2 8ft blinds and they sent 2ft pully cords that I cant reach to operate the blinds. I've sent 5 emails 22nd feb -5th march. No response. I've tried calling customer service, phone line just cuts off???
